I like to bake.

Sometimes I get the sudden urge to be domestic -- and I start to bake :) I'm a fairly picky eater and not much of a cook but for some strange reason I really like to bake. Yesterday I made a two-layer yellow cake with buttercream icing. I'm not sure if I like the final presentation of baking or the fact that I have a nice new kitchenaid mixer ... who knows!

It's totally the KitchenAid. It was my absolute most favorite wedding present I got. It really encourages me to make stuff when the mixer does all the "heavy lifting." :)
