Handmade Market - Early Christmas Shopping

This past Saturday I headed over to Raleigh, NC for the Handmade Market. It gave me the first opportunity to carry out my holiday pledge--to only buy gifts that are handmade. Though this promise may be difficult considering the range of family members I need to buy for - so far so good! A few things I purchased for gifts..
Clockwise: Alena Hennessy scarf,  Heirloom Journal by Kacie, Baby-tees by Nice Shirt Kid

So what do you think..can I do it? I have in-laws...kids...parents...step parents...etc...to buy for this holiday season. Are you taking the pledge to buy handmade this year??

You can totally do it! I think I am going to take after my uncle in my gift giving. He is a designer and very stylish, and he always gets us the most interesting gifts. It is never something that someone wanted, but cool, and everyone just knows that gifts from Uncle Steve will be interesting and unusual :)

I love them! Especially the little romper suit and the journal. I'm really trying to buy handmade, vintage and independent this year but it's a struggle. I've done quite well so far though!
