DIY in Action

We took on a small chunck of DIY projects before the wedding--some more time consuming however, but all well worth it. Here are the details in action...
Programs blogged about here and here.
Gocco printed napkins blogged about here.
Guest book hang tags blogged about here.
Our fab departure flags! We also created all the bouquets, table runners, and the bridal party attire. Any DIY brides out there...I highly recommend planning ahead and getting a jump-start :)

I'm so glad you did this -- I loved all of your DIY projects and hope that others find them to be equally as inspiring. Your programs were my particular favorite, aside from your invitations and Save the Dates, of course.

Mmmm...I clicked through to the post on programs and have decided that you are officially the coolest bride ever. LOVE the Emerson quote. I'm such a sucker for devastating lines of poetry like that...we had a line from frost in our paloma's nest ring bowl and it was one of my favourite touches from the wedding.

And this has nothing to do with weddings per se, but I just ADORE the ceramic log vessel that the flags are stored in. such a textural wonder!
