Shirt #2

Here is my second attempt at a shirt using a Built by Wendy pattern. Although my previous dress morphed into a shirt, I'm proud of myself for actually making what I set out to this time :)

The fabric for the shirt above is actually from Joann's--I was searching for a sale! But I love, love, love Mulberry Silks in Carr Mill Mall (Carrboro, NC).

I love the style of that shirt, you've got talent!

That necklace you're wearing is also really chic, I have a pair of gorgeous diamond earrings I bought from www.idonowidont.com that totally matches it. I have to find a necklace like yours now!

I love the fabric pattern and would wear that blouse any day!

Built by Wendy is just the best! I have a couple patterns that have been sitting in my closet for a while, and you've totally inspired me to pull them out and put them to work. Great top---I love the fabric you chose!

That is so exciting! It looks great! I have been about half-way through one of her shirt patterns for month - This totally makes me feel motivated to finish it!

I *love* your shirt - in fact after I saw your version of this pattern I rushed out & bought it.
I notice that the pattern calls for a stretch knit - did you you use a stretch knit fabric? If not, how did you modify the pattern?
I would appreciate any & all input. Thank you for your help.

Thanks Tammy! It's actually more of stretch flannel (if that makes sense?) but I followed the pattern pretty thoroughly and was happy with the way things turned out :) Please let me know if you have any other questions.
