Daily Wear Recap
I'm almost a month into my daily wear feature .. and so far, so good. I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep up with it but it's proven to be one of my favorite activities each day. Recording my daily outfits inspires me to reorder, rewear, reinvent and recreate my wardrobe. I also find it interesting how my flickr friends respond -- which outfits are a hit and which are ...hmmm, just okay :)

Jessica Schroeder of What I Wore sums it up pretty well when she writes "I truly believe that the clothing we wear can affect our moods as well as the impressions we give of ourselves to other people. Looking your best doesn’t need to cost a lot of money— just a little imagination."

oh my goodness, jessica is right on. i always feel silly, but if i'm wearing something that doesn't feel quite right, or i'm just not really in the mood to wear it that day (even if i typically love that outfit) it puts me in the crankiest mood.
i will never forget when one of my college roommates came sprinting inside and directly into her room one afternoon when she was supposed to have class all day - she said i have to change my shirt! i have to change my shirt! it's putting me in such a bad mood today! she changed and sprinted out - this time with a smile on her face.
behold the power of fashion :)
I love your outfit entries. Keep posting!
The grey dress and blue cardigan... a HIT to me!
My vote is 23 and awesome.
All three of us ladies at academichic have loved seeing you document your daily wear. You have a way of making wardrobe basics seem special and lovely. (And best wishes as you start graduate school!) - e.
Heheh, you should know that you inspired me to try to get some cute jeans at Old Navy, I have not been in there in YEARS, well, it didn't work out, but just so you now, you motivated me!
