I'm curious though; I looked at the book on Etsy and is it all in Japanese?

Bri, The book is in japanese (the reason I only bought one!) -- but I've read that the illustrations are decent enough that you can follow on, hopefully! :)

I'm curious how you're transferring these patterns out of the book because all the patterns are on one sheet, piled on top of one another.

To cut them out would mean you only get one pattern and to use a pattern wheel would ruin the paper I think. I'm transferring them by tracing on to transparent mylar but it's time consuming. Do you have a better idea?

Japanese do it better! Speaking of which, check out this awesome online shop based in Japan. I think you'll love it. Cute overload! http://www.chigo.co.jp/
