Vintage Plates : Peacock Modern's collection

I find vintage ceramics addicting, especially plates & mugs. I couldn't help but share a few patterns from Peacock Modern's flickr photostream -- ps. she also has an etsy shop.

I have a small collection of vintage plates -- does anyone else collect vintage ceramics?

After my grandmother's passing, I came into an enormous collection of vintage pyrex. They've been sitting in storage until the fiance and I get a new place, and I have to say, I'm really excited to start using them! In particular, a blue pattern with blue snowflakes - perfect for the holidays and winter months! :)

Oh my gosh, I have two serving bowls with the same pattern as the plates on the bottom right -- I use them every day! I didn't know they were vintage, just bought them at a thrift store during college. WOW!

Love the plates!

Dude. I think Steve & Barry's filed for bankruptcy. No more Bitten? Both the store website and the SJP Bitten website have disappeared...

I also collect vintage/antique china. These plates remind me of eating sandwiches at my grandmother's house for some reason.

I LOVE vintage dishware. My husband told me I had to stop when we ran out of cabinet space... but we're moving into a new place next week and I can't wait to start scouring vintage stores and goodwill for more treasures!

here are a few of my favorites:

Wow! I was totally amazed by these vintage plates. If somebody will give me one of these plates, I won't use it. I'll keep it in my vintage collection glass cabinet. I absolutely want the black plate with bronze linings.
