Oh my! I would adore having my own little spot somewhere like that. :) So much more fun than having all my "girly stuff" spread about the bathroom vanity. ;)

I actually have my grandmother's vanity; one summer, I spent a few weeks sanding it and painting it a bright white (it used to be avocado!). But, to make room, I had to sacrifice a dresser, and get creative with closet storage. I don't sit at it (I need to re-cane or re-upholster the stool), but it's a nice focal point, and holds up my stuff (like a pink glass cake stand where I put all my perfume bottles). :)

I think they are so cute and not vain...a girl needs her space!
