I took a recent visit to Fort Pulaski on a somber afternoon -- good news was that we watched a canon firing :)

I love this picture. I live in Augusta, which aside from a few blocks is just a suburban wasteland. Coming to Savannah is my closest respite from stip-malls and empty retail space filled with parking lots.
I will have to take more pictures for myself next time I am there to look at later and appreciate when I can't make a trip. : )
