Pin-up Space
I'm trying to figure out a good place to pin-up. Do you keep a wall of inspiration? I'm interested to see how my pin-up space may shift as I begin focus on my graduate studies in photography...so my area could mimic something below..

Or I could make a pin-up board somewhere around my closet vanity -- posting this and that, like below..
Or move it to my sewing nook by our all-purpose dining room table to encourage my sewing resolution for the year..

Great inspiration, I have a wall of images taped right to my wall, almost reaches the ceiling now, I love it!
these are beautiful. I wish I could find the pic, but my fav is done with chicken wire and then the photos are clipped on with clothes pins. I really do need to do it.
HI
My name is jen and I stumbled upon your blog one day last week and I have to say I really enjoy reading it. I have had a blogfor like the last 3 years for family and friends but am just now starting a new one about creative inpiration as well as starting an etsy shop. Anyways I just wanted to let you know I enjoy the things you post and as well have inspired me to take on the creative challenge of photography my stylings (clothes) during the week. i think it is a great challenge- but one I am glad to take on. I did have one question I was looking at your letterpress and did you paint it? I have almost the same one and I love how yours looked blue... I was wondering how you painted it -if it needed any sort of primer or special paint. Thanks!
Let me know if you find any good ways to keep things organized! I myself struggle with the desire to keep all sorts of stuff in quick display for inspiration, but the OCD in my finds it hard to do it without making a mess and getting frustrated!
hi whitney, i am sure i have mentioned this once before...but i LOVE your blog and your style and your decorating inspires me. rachel denbow over at "bling on my sewing machine" has come up with this idea for organizing clippings and inspiration pieces:

just thought i would share!
When I was in high school, I had a whole wall devoted to bits and bobs and little flickers of inspiration. Now it's just four big cork tiles above the desk--still, I love to mess around with what's up there. As a matter of fact, I'm going to change it up tonight.
Thanks!
i've been thinking of making a magnetic inspiration/display board (i hate poking holes in things w/ push pins). i already have this one in silver from ikea that i love, but i swear it used to be cheaper. i use these magnets from staples which are great b/c you can hang things from them.i also picked up a bunch of these strips for 5 cents in the as-is department. haven't used them yet b/c i'm paranoid there's something terribly wrong w/ them.
