Unsuccessful
I spent several hours working on a shirt this weekend...and failed! Not sure what went wrong - I came to a point in the pattern when I couldn't understand what to do next and unsuccessfully pressed on. A bit of a disappointment, I really liked the fabric and style of shirt but I suppose I'll just try again. Better luck next time!

This sounds like the end of most of my projects! But I have seen other things you have made and they are all wonderful! I am sure you will succeed next time :)
Argh .... it's such a drag when something goes wrong and you can't figure it out or fix it. Happens to me all the time : )
It looks good from this view. This week I was making myself a shirt (my own pattern) and realized I forgot the arm holes!

I just stated sewing and I've loved it but one dress I just can't figure out. I started all over and ran into the same problem! I finally had to put it away until my Mom comes to visit and help me! I about pulled my hair out!
looks great...but totally understand....hate it when i just keep trying and trying and all goes wrong!

I hope you aren't discarding this top - I think it's perfect the way it is! It looks intentional... Sometimes mistakes can turn out to be beautiful :)
I had this experience on Friday! I have no idea what I did wrong, and I read the instructions over and over again before winging it - unsuccessfully. I guess some days just aren't meant for sewing.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. You'll get it next time! :)

I actually got the gathering of the neck right -- it was when I was supposed to attach the yoke to the front/back of the shirt that I couldn't figure it out.
