Rebecca Thuss

One of the graduate classes I just started is Studio Craft -- learning to photograph in a studio environment whether it be still life or portraiture. The styling of Rebecca Thuss is always a major source of inspiration for me. The photographs and arrangements are so light and delicate, everything placed effortlessly yet perfectly.

I love it when a photographer can capture both the ethereal nature of a subject as well as its absolute concrete existence. That is certainly the case with the photos of the feathers. She does amazing work.

I've seen a bunch of her work in magazines and have LOVED it! She's really amazing! You're right, her work seems so effortless. I can't seem to get that same result in my photos...I guess that's why taking a course like the one you're involved in would be handy.
