Deep Blue

I'm usually drawn to lighter/brighter interiors but these images by Roland Bello have me itching for rich, deep blue walls. Loving the dark wood contrast...oh and clothing isn't so bad either :)

I'm a big fan too — I painted our bedroom walls a deep Moroccan blue. It's a really cozy, romantic color.

I'm with you on preferring light and bright interiors, but this has me second guessing... Though I've never had any wall color but white, so I'm not sure if I could commit to the deep blue! Yellow pops so nicecly in these rooms. Lovely!

When I was in college, I painted my room a shade very similiar to the blue in that first photo. I looooved it!

For some reason that first photo with the deep rich blue color reminds me of the beginning of the school year. I'm not sure what it is but I can almost smell my elementary school now!

I am a huge fan of incorporating rich hues within interior spaces. The tricky thing is to convince clients to use such a bold and dark color. :I Myself I love it though. Can't get tired of dark blues, rich, crisp, and warm!

I love the blue walls! My sister just painted her dining room dark blue with white trim and it looks amazing! It really makes the room look bigger.
