Uh huh! So cute. This is the perfect quilt for all designers. Makes me wish I could sew. High fives.
I've been wanting to make this quilt forever, maybe someday I'll find the time! It's just gorgeous. I have their quilted gifts book too, it has lots of fun projects.
i've been so inspired by quilts lately. and i am by no means a quilter. here's yet another to add to my ever-growing stack of inspiration!
I started quilting about three years ago, and it's so rewarding. You should give it a try. This quilt is so beautiful. I'll definitely refer to it as an inspiration.
oooh yesss... very nice! quilting seems HARD! you know, to make it perfect and all end up fitting together just right... hhmmmm
awesome-- i want one! more specifically, someone willing to make one for me..
Yes, I love this quilt! I just wish I didn't have to buy the book in order to get the pattern to make it.
I know three people who are all getting married this summer and I've decided to make quilts for each of them. I've never made them before, but I just started the first one this weekend and it's so fun! I would definitely recommend it, even if you just make a little throw blanket or pillow cover. It's very relaxing and way easier than garment sewing.
I live in New York and LOVE the Purl yarn store - looks like now i have something new to add to my crafting/hobbies list.
I've just found your blog and am in love. I will definitely keep checking in.
I love this quilt. I've asked my quilting soon-to-be mother-in-law if she'd be willing to make this for my fiance and I for Christmas, and she graciously obliged, but we can't seem to figure out where to get the pattern. Do you happen to know? I see Erin mentioned a book with the pattern enclosed, but I was wondering if anyone knows which book the pattern is in?
Thanks in advance.
(p.s. I love your blog so very much. I lived in Savannah for two years and attended SCAD, also!)
Ok, my loving man found what we needed. Just thought I'd share in case others had the same question!
