Self-Portraits

Here's a little peak at my final project for my studio lighting course. I'm not particularly interested in commercial photography so I stuck with a self-portrait series. Special thanks to my hub who helped me actually set-up and take the photos.

Any thoughts? I've already had the critique from my class but I'd love to hear your feedback..

Just exquisite. I love the hands and feet photo, as well as the photo of the hair tied up in a low bun.

Really, really pretty. The photo of your bun in the upper right corner, that one is my fave.

I especially love the one with your hands and feet and also the one where you are twirling your hair.

just beautiful. I especially love the one of your holding the bottom of your dress. perfection.

They are all really beautiful and if you arranged the hair ones in the order from bun to flying in your face, they could definitely stand alone for the texture and movement.

I love that you can't really see your eyes in any of them. It leaves a large part of you untold. As if the person viewing the photo only gets to see this little bit, but you're saving your eyes for someone special. And then the last one with your hair flying, you can almost see your entire face, as if you're tempting the viewer.

Very very nice!

It's always hard to catch movement, but you did it beautifully.

these are so incredibly warm - you make the color come across without any at all. If that makes sense. beautiful!
