D: daily wear
Thursday, August 6, 2009 It all began with this post: January 12, 2009: Daily Wear
I love clothing and I have a very limited budget -- this combination inspired my daily wear series. I often blog about fashion that I cannot afford for the simple fact that a girl can dream :) So it's nice to be able to share a low-budget wardrobe and inspire people in their daily task of getting dressed each day.
I had no idea how long I would be able to keep up daily wear, because yes, I run out of clothes! Thankfully it has really inspired me to expand on sewing and designing my own clothes. It also really encourages me to try on everything I own in my closet so things don't go un-worn. But I do try my best to mix & match and wear my clothes through every season.

My favorite part about the series is the anticipation of whether my outfit is a hit or a flop. Here are a few that have done favorably well on flickr.

And of course, those women who take part in a similar dressing game that inspire my wardrobe...as seen in this post: March 13, 2009: What I Wear and Why

I hope to continue this series -- I've definitely become less ritualistic about it since I started but I try my best to drag out my camera every time I feel inspired to share. It's a bit strange to photograph yourself, over and over again -- but I've sort of gotten over that part, anything in the name of fashion, right?!

oh whoa, it's a strange thing to run across a picture of yourself on a blog you read daily, haha! I haven't documented my outfits in forever because I'm not particularly in love with my summer rotation of "whatever makes me not die in this heat." It's so impressive you've been able to keep it up!
Great! That's why I started blogging and posting in wardrobe remix, to keep it creative. I really love the clothes you've been makin too, so professional looking.
Love your blog, love the "daily wear" series and LOVE your new hair cut! :)
I'm so glad I found your blog! I've been getting tired of seeing different outfits on other people's blog every day.. Nobody has that many clothes that they wear something different every day. If they do, they need to start reassessing.... Anyway, that's what I've been trying to do too. But I've run out of ideas lately.. and i can't really afford to keep buying clothes. I'm really glad I found you.
your series is quite impressive. there are a ton of outfits that i like immediately.
Hi, I've been following your blog for awhile but not commented yet! I love your daily wear posts. Your style is very similar to mine and you give me lots of great ideas. It is nice to see someone else out there making a stylish wardrobe without spending a lot of money! Please keep posting. :)
I just love all your great skirts! It's amazing how many different outfits we really do have, if we would only mix and match a bit more! I love seeing your clothes and styles, it's so creative and inspiring!
It's the coolest! Love all your outfits and I feel like I never see anything twice. Keep it up.
