Window Bookshelf

I had literally JUST rearranged a few of our books into the windowsill before stumbling across this image. So pretty. I can't wait until we can retrieve a few our vintage cameras from storage...I miss their decorative presence. See more of Kara's lovely bedroom here.

Beautiful! I wish I had a window seat to display my books. I don't have a vintage camera, though I do have an old rotary phone which would look just as good. I tend to place my books in order of colour and not size. I think it looks better! I also threw away all my dust jackets- my professor at library school almost had a heart attack (he collects old books). None of my hardcovers were old or destined to be valuable ...at least that's what I think!

this photo makes me happy. i have an unexplainable attraction to rows of books, but they have to be all shapes, sizes and colors and in no particular order. and when they're on a white background it's even more alluring. thank you for sharing and for your blog in general which is a bright little beam in the middle of my day.

ps your daily outfit game inspired me to do the same, even though i don't have quite the wealth of awesome articles that you do, i still decided it would be fun. keep rockin.
