ack! i live in Boone, NC, and all i have are generic ski socks.. i may have to take the plunge and invest in some of these..

I love Smartwool! I have the first two styles pictures above, and so many more! I tend to buy them on the sierra trading post website because they are so expensive for socks. But totally worth it.

I just got a pair for Christmas and wore them for the first time today, actually. Very warm and comfy even out in all this snow. So far, so good!

i've been a firm believer in smartwool for a few years now ... they have the best athletic socks, and then stripes, i CANNOT get enough of their stripey socks!

I wore SmartWool for years until I tried Wigwam socks - they are awesome! (and made in the USA)... I would recommend checking them out.
