I'm trying my hand at a little indoor vegetation. Yes, two are cacti...so we'll see how it goes :)

Snake plants are impossible to kill. Good choice. And they look lovely.

Such a wonderful picture. I would love to put some more plants around my house but the lighting I get in here is so bad I'd be worried about killing them

Pothos are great for indoors - they can take a bit of neglect and you can cut sections off to grow in water for very long periods (and they look lovely in water actually).

Whitney - did you paint your typist table or was it that colour to begin with? We have one that needs some TLC and I am tempted to try that colour of yours.
