Around my space

I thought I'd share a few photos of my workspace (aka my bedroom). I dream of the day we have a spare room or even a studio space I can lease...ahh, one day. Thankfully, we have a pretty sizeable bedroom and my hub is very gracious about letting me use so much space.

I'm getting ready to head back to school this week, last semester, wooohoo. So I've been gearing up for that and taking on a few custom comissions -- everything is in the muslin right now, so nothing exciting to share. But soon enough.

and my little helper..

I share your studio, spare room, or even just a small closet beneath the stairs, wishes as I also have my sewing room in our bedroom. It's so nice to see how other people lay out their makeshift sewing rooms. I've been squinting at the books on your shelf & see that you have a copy of Draping for Apparel Design - have you found it useful? I've had it on my Amazon wishlist for a while and keep on putting it in and out of my basket.

I too love the look of the muslins.

Lovely!! I wish my studio (also my bedroom) was as tidy and organised as yours. Every time I find a new suitcase or drawer or anything to store things in, I end up hoarding double what will fit in it, meaning I need another. Ohhhhhhhh :((

ohhh 9Heads- one of the few books I held onto from college...it's so darn big but very helpful!

I was purusing Tiny-Ass Apartment and saw your space as a design inspiration! Very cool how you're getting around the inter-webs :-)

And look at you knit! I finally finished the last of my Christmas gifts and put up a slide show on my blog: blog.andreaturini.net I did a ridiculous amount of knitting but it was so worth it. Looking forward to seeing the final creation!

I'm am wholly jealous of the organization of your workspace. I'm currently going through one of my cyclical cleanings of my office/closet. So much stuff, so little space. Your photos fill me with a sense of calm. I'm hoping to achieve that again in my own workspace. thanks for sharing.
