Savage Beauty

Earlier this month, The Met opened up a fabulous Alexander Mcqueen exhibited, entitled Savage Beauty. I had heard all about it from friends at school so last week, Dustin and I made the trip to the upper east side to check it out. It was so incredible, unfortunately though, it's the most popular exhibit I've ever seen -- and an afternoon visit meant wall to wall crowds making it crazy difficult to view anything.

So yesterday, I decided to go again right when the museum opened so I could actually enjoy it, and I did. I was the geek with the audio tour in awe of the work. It's truly an inspiring show.

If you're in NYC this summer, I definitely recommend seeing it (be sure to go early!) and The Met in general. Here are few of my favorite pieces from the exhibit.
