Moving Studio Spaces
At the beginning of the year, I had planned on getting my studio out of the house and into a larger space downtown. Then of course, we found out about baby, and things changed (as they do). So nearly mintues before signing a lease on a studio space, I pulled out and decided to stay put. Unfortunately the room I was currently using would soon need to be transformed into a nursery so the hub and I made the decision to put my workspace downstairs in our basement. That way, with our new arrival this fall, I'll have a place to work and still be close to the little one.
But our basement was dark, dingy, and lacking electrical outlets. So with some TLC, 8' flourescent lights, and carpeting, I now have a fabulous studio space I can do cartwheels in and have room for my help to work along side of me. Things are still a bit under construction as we figure out how to make my equipment mesh in with the space but here are a few quick peeks into my space...

Of course, he is the one that keeps this thing running..

EXCITING! but please refrain from cartwheeling down there until baby girl arrives. ;)
I'm sure it's nice to have a bigger space. I love working from home!
