baby Baby Romper
This has to be one of my favorite things I've made for the little one so far. A simple striped romper from some leftover organic jersey I had in my stash...equipped with snaps at the bottom. It's so cozy!
baby DIY Bulletin Board
And along with the headboard, we also put together a bulletin board for the office side of the spare bedroom from a scrap piece of fabric we had bought at the second-hand store. Again, loosely following this tutorial, it was an easy-peasy project.

In an effort to spruce up our spare bedroom/office (while we were on a home upholstering kick) the hub put together this headboard for the bed. We loosely followed Grace's headboard tutorial and opted for a short square shape. We're making things cozy one step at a time...one day I'll be able to show you our fully decorated abode.
decorating 2 weeks
Our little Glory Maeve is now two weeks old -- and these past couple of weeks feel like a blur. Everyday we learn something new (who knew newborns ate and pooped so much!) and we can't help but snuggle and kiss her constantly. I cant believe one tiny little creature can have so many facial expressions!
