Inspired by...

I've been working constantly on my upcoming bridal launch. I'm as equally terrified as I am excited. Right now, I'm in the process of finishing up the loose ends and sewing up final samples...with a photo shoot just around the corner and the official launch by early fall, I'm feeling a little crazy. Hence a bit of radio silence over here on my blog. But, no complaining here, I'm enjoying every minute.

I wish I could share more of what I'm working on, but like I said, samples are still being sewn. But..here is a glimpse of some of my early inspiration for the collection. A little woodsy, a little vintage, definitely sweet, and with the perfect touch of simplicity. A now to get that into dress form...

Archives

For me, I use tumblr to gather and bookmark online inspiration. There is this great function that visually archives your posts into a thumbnail library. I love this. Every tumblr template has a unique way of archiving, below is mine, check out a recent post from Jane about her archive. Oh, and if you tumble, hit me up.

Pin-up Space

I'm trying to figure out a good place to pin-up. Do you keep a wall of inspiration? I'm interested to see how my pin-up space may shift as I begin focus on my graduate studies in photography...so my area could mimic something below..

Or I could make a pin-up board somewhere around my closet vanity -- posting this and that, like below..

Or move it to my sewing nook by our all-purpose dining room table to encourage my sewing resolution for the year..

Wedding Wednesday

It's wedding wednesday and I have created another inspiration board to share with you. I am currently in the stage of finalizing the big wedding players (location, photographer, dress, etc...) however I keep going back and forth on what I want for reception decorations. I know that I have time, but there are so many options to choose from!
