The hub and I just finished up our last wedding of the year..woot woot! Always a bittersweet feeling. This year I had the best brides, and what I mean is the most chill-stylish-awesome brides...ladies that I'd like to be friends with, and that makes my job so much easier.

my work, weddings, whitneydeal When I was getting married, I knew I wanted to use dresses with pattern fabric for my bridesmaids. Unfortunately, there wasn't really anything out there at the time -- So, we made our own!
That idea was my inspiration behind the bridesmaid/garden dresses in my collection. Mix and match dress styles, mix and match patterns, and everyone gets pockets! I'm offering 5 fabric options right now, but will be adding to that soon!

my work, personal, photography I've been working constantly on my upcoming bridal launch. I'm as equally terrified as I am excited. Right now, I'm in the process of finishing up the loose ends and sewing up final samples...with a photo shoot just around the corner and the official launch by early fall, I'm feeling a little crazy. Hence a bit of radio silence over here on my blog. But, no complaining here, I'm enjoying every minute.
I wish I could share more of what I'm working on, but like I said, samples are still being sewn. But..here is a glimpse of some of my early inspiration for the collection. A little woodsy, a little vintage, definitely sweet, and with the perfect touch of simplicity. A now to get that into dress form...
