Shop Update
I've added a few sterling silver necklaces to my shop. So go ahead, head on over...
If you'd like a necklace in a different color...I do custom orders for the same price so feel free to contact me.

Remember this shirt?

It was great while it lasted -- I accidentally stained it with chemicals while working in the darkroom. Terrible, I know. I need to wear a scuba suit while I work in there!
SOOOooo...I decided to remake it. I had a stack of this tic-tac-toe fabric I had not found a use for yet and went with it. I paired it with a few wooden buttons to offset the tiny pattern.
We've had the opportunity to shoot some amazing coastal weddings this summer -- check out the latest over on Oh, Darling! But, I can't wait for the change in seasons with cooler evenings and fall color palettes :)

It's fall!! If only Savannah would get the memo -- it still a bit warm here. In honor of my favorite season, I'm having a sale on the remaining grey party skirts in my etsy shop. Now that's a deal :)
**Update: only sizes 6 & 10 are left**

I've also been hard at work making new necklaces for the shop..here are a few..

shopping/fashion A small interruption from my month long A-Z series to bring you a few photographs I've captured lately..
I'm in the midst a large format photography course (the big cameras that you use a black cloth to cover your head with) and have been experimenting with this beast. We have a love/hate relationship, but all and all it's been a great experience. A few shots...
The hub and I shot a beautiful Savannah wedding this past weekend. There ceremony was at the Whitefield Chapel at the Bethesda School for Boys (where Ryan Adams and Mandy Moore married a couple of months ago) -- it was so rustic and gorgeous! You can check out more photos here.
my work,
photography A local fabric shop, Fabrika, was having a sale this weekend that I couldn't pass up. So I made my first attempt at creating a dress by my own pattern. After many a trial & error, I finally finished! So voila! Not too shabby...there a few things I've definitely noted in my own head to work on for next time...But I must turn the sewing machine off for a few days! My eyes are beginning to cross..

I've had some major light posting this week -- oops! :) I've just been trucking along through my summer classes: color photography & intro to sewing. Below are a few more goodies from my photo class. It's a five week course so it has been pretty fast paced. I'll be wrapping it up soon and heading into large-format photography, sounds fun!
In other news, we have our first wedding of the summer this weekend for Oh, Darling! Super excited...a lovely Savannah wedding :) Hopefully it won't be TOO hot!
